Fire Damage at Jacksonville Beach Rental Property

A kitchen fire spread smoke and soot throughout this Jacksonville Beach rental home. SERVPRO of The Beaches/Ponte Vedra was able to dry-clean all the contents including the draperies, clothing, and bed linens. We then cleaned all the surfaces, walls, and carpeting, followed by fogging and filtering the air.

There are two different types of smoke–wet and dry. As a result, there are different types of soot residue after a fire. Before restoration begins, SERVPRO of The Beaches/Ponte Vedra will test the soot to determine which type of smoke damage occurred. The cleaning procedures will then be based on the information identified during pretesting.
